Our Technology

Although we prefer to focus on the benefits that idio can bring, we are more than happy to discuss the technology we use to deliver these benefits. From our LAMP architecture and scalable cloud-server deployments, to our semantic extraction engine, personalization system, and aggregation technology, just drop us an email or call, and we can chat about the details. We also have a platform-agnostic delivery system, which intelligently renders content for digital magazines, websites, mobile sites/apps, widgets, emails, and even print (using HP’s MagCloud).

We support the data portability approach to attention data, and use APML files to describe each user’s tastes. We like openess, build on top of many open APIs, and can create Content APIs for clients as part of the idio platform. We love usability and standards-compliance, and work within known guidelines when possible. We love Fair Trade organic coffee, and use it to power the development of most aspects of idio’s platform.
